In short, 'One Salty Two Sweet' was designed to be the ultimate clinical resource for students at the University of Nottingham. Our ongoing success is testament to the quality of the book, and the continued hard work that goes into keeping it accurate and up-to-date.

The complete Foundations for Practice (FFP) guide was new for 2023, in response to the updated course structure at the University of Nottingham. It covers every FFP objective over two books (Medicine / Surgery & Specials / Psychiatry). Much like the original book, each relevant objective is written out and then directly covered, this time with the help of some specialist content editors. It also comes with a free digital image guide to help you through the tricky clinical images that crop up in FFP exams. We are confident that this is our best guide to date!

To keep the costs of the book down, we print only one cycle per year. Orders must be placed by February 21st to secure your copy for 2025. Books will be delivered in the first week of March as you find your feet in FFP!
